GOT7 Jinyoung in Talks to be Part of Upcoming Drama ‘The Devil Judge’
Actor and GOT7 member Park Jinyoung will possibly make a comeback on the small screen. Currently, he is in talks to be part of the forthcoming drama "The Devil Judge."
Being an idol and an actor takes a lot of time and effort. Preparing for the group comeback and going to the next drama set after. But, Park Jinyoung is indeed a versatile artist because he can perform on stage and act in front of the camera at the same time.
His last drama was "When My Love Blooms," where he played the character of Han Jae Hyun way back in his 20s as a university student. Here, he showed his different charms and versatility, from supporting roles to lead roles. Jinyoung always gave his best in front of the audience.
He also made a good impact with his role in the drama "He is Psychometric" as Lee Ahn who has the power of psychometry: he can read a person's mind by touching him/her or having a close contact with his skin. Jinyoung also received praises for his portrayal in the said drama.
Aside from acting, he is also an active member of the popular K-Pop boy group GOT7, who recently had their comeback album "Breath of Life : Last Piece."
Meanwhile, the upcoming drama "The Devil Judge" is finally unveiling its cast, and Jinyoung is reported to be reviewing the script for the drama. He is in talks to be playing the role of a judge named Kim Ga On. This will be another drama to look forward to as Jinyoung, if he accepts the role, will play a role different from his previous works!
"The Devil Judge" will depict the story of a head judge who makes the court into a reality show in order to punish the one who made the wrongdoings. Ji Sung is also in talks to be part of the drama as Kang Yo Han, the so-called "devil judge."
On Dec. 4, Kim Min Jung's agency verified that she will be playing the lead role of Jung Sun Ah, a tough and ambitious executive director of the Social Responsibility Foundation. Her character will be entangled with Kang Yo Han for she is the only person who is capable of making Kang Yo Han's life a rollercoaster ride.
Jung Sun Ah was born in a low income family, with her brilliant mind and mischievous charm, she made it to the top but she is still aiming for more and the audience should look forward to how the characters will unfold their stories.
Meanwhile, being a university student to being a judge in the court, Park Jinyoung is indeed making huge progress in his acting career. The duality that he holds can be seen right in front of our eyes. As a matter of fact, he received recognition at the recent 2020 Asia Artist Award (AAA) as the Potential (Actor) Award along with actress Kim Hye Yoon.
tvN's new drama "The Devil Judge" is scheduled to air next year (2021). Details and updates about the upcoming drama is yet to be announced to the public.
