When Dal Mi was struggling with her parents divorce, sister's abandonment, and loss of a loved one, it was Ji Pyeong who made her feel loved and cared for even if it were only through handwritten letters.

The letters may have been Halmeoni's idea, but eventually his intention of being a good friend, became more than to what he is supposed to do. Ji Pyeong gave all his heart in expressing himself to Dal Mi, he even shared his wishes and how his day went. Through his genuine words, Dal Mi found comfort and safety in him, and Ji Pyeong also found the same comfort in Dal Mi's letters.
Han Ji Pyeong already build a special bond with Halmeoni and Seo Dal Mi
Intimate emotional connection may not be present between Do San and Halmeoni, and Seo Dal Mi may be fascinated by Nam Do San's presence when they finally met, but while Do San is still slowly revealing his true self, the connection that Halmeoni and Dal Mi have built with Ji Pyeong is was already stronger.
It was also because of Halmeoni's encouragement that Ji Pyeong was able to move forward in his life. She never asks anything in return, but Ji Pyeong, being the good boy that he is, always looks after halmeoni and considers her his family. He also does his best to help halmeoni, for it is the only thing he can do for the woman who was like a mother to him and never even asked anything in return.
Han Ji Pyeong has saved Dal Mi from sadness before, and 15 years later, he is still doing the same thing - no longer in words but through actions.

Han Ji Pyeong always does things for the good and not for his own desires.
Bringing back the wounds from the past years that he already forgot and didn't want to face again, but he did just for Dal Mi. Even if it means bringing Do San in their lives. He is aso an angel investor, and is both Seo Dal Mi and Samsan Tech's angel. He may be tactless and straightforward, but he is just doing it to push them forward, and he's very determined to see them succeed, even though he knew that it would bring him pain in the end.
He also went out of his way to help Samsan Tech look good just to make the girl he likes happy.
He is hardworking
Being independent and doing things all by himself, Ji Pyeong knows how it feels like to struggle from rags to riches. From a teenager who was walking in the rain to find a place to spend his days and night with, he experienced unexpected struggles and was close to giving up. However, he surpassed it all and became the man he is today. Because of perseverance and hard work, he is now an inspiration to many. And to give back, he is sharing his learnings and skills to help others move forward just like him.

Through years of ups and downs, Han Ji Pyeong had made so much effort not for himself but for the people around him. He became selfless just to make sure Dal Mi would not regret her choices in life. He always watches her from afar and helps her in the best way that he can.
Our Team Good Boy had proved unintentionally that he is worth fighting for not just through words but most especially through his deeds, but it is still up to Seo Dal Mi's decision. We wish a happy ending for both teams!
