Park Ji Hoon in Talks to Star in a New Webtoon Drama 'Seen from A Distance, Green Spring'
An artist does not limit himself in exploring other things, especially when there are many who support their talent and abilities. For all Kdrama fans out there, we have great news! Park Ji Hoon in talks to star in a new webtoon drama "Seen From A Distance, Green Spring."
The idol and actor will possibly be doing a new project soon! He is positively reviewing a casting offer for a new drama that is originally based on one of the most popular webtoon series, "Seen from A Distance, Green Spring."
On Jan. 11, the actor's home agency Maroo Entertainment released their statement regarding the news, "Our artist Park Ji Hoon received an offer to star in the upcoming new webtoon-based drama 'Seen from a Distance, Green Spring' and he is considering it."
The webtoon written by Ji Nyoong will tell the story of young people in their twenties and the challenges they face in the university. Nam Soo Hyun and Yeo Joo have very different personalities, but unexpectedly become close and friends with each other.
It will also depict the true and realistic problems and conflicts of university students in their twenties and center around the third-year college student Yeo Joon.
Park Ji Hoon has been offered Yeo Joon's role. If he accepts it, he'll play a boy with an attractive appearance and a sweet personality from a wealthy family. He's also a business student at Myungil University, who seems to have a perfect life. However, he may have a wealthy background, but he's actually carrying a lot of pain inside.
The filming schedule of "Seen from a Distance, Green Spring" will reportedly kick off in the latter part of January. Other details about the series are yet to be announced.
Park Ji Hoon started his career when he joined the reality competition show "Produce 101 Season 2," where he ranked second. It became his starting point to debut as a member of the previous popular K-Pop group "Wanna One."
Besides pursuing a career in the music industry, the 21-year-old singer and actor have been into different projects from musicals to tv dramas. His first lead role was in the drama "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency," where he played the character of Goo Young Soo, and after the disbandment of the group "Wanna One," he had his debut as a soloist under Maroo Entertainment.
