Watch: ‘The Penthouse’ Cast Showcase Their Close Relationship in Behind-the-scenes Footage
The cast of the hit drama series 'The Penthouse' showcases how they take care of each other in a newly released behind-the-scenes video!
The drama takes place in a 100-floors luxury penthouse apartment where three women are the stars of the story. They are described as the "queen" of the penthouse Shim Soo Ryeon starred by Lee Ji Ah, the "prima donna" Cheon Seo Jin portrayed by Kim So Yeon, she's the woman who will do anything to get what she wants, and actress Eugene portraying as Oh Yoon Hee who is determined to get into the world of the high-class society. As expected, the drama's characters have dark secrets and murky pasts, and their children are no better!
In the behind-the-scenes video, we get to witness what happens on set while the cast is shooting for their scenes in the drama's first season. While filming for episode 6 where they are doing a family dinner scene, Yoon Jong Hoon (as Ha Yoon Cheol) has to leave the table first among the rest. When he's getting into place, a person off-cam expressed how Yoon Jong Hoon is quite tall. Upon hearing this, he laughs and asks if he should spread his legs out wide while standing so that the camera can take a better shot. Eventually, he did it before leaving the scene.

Another clip showcases Lee Ji Ah who gives her onscreen daughter Han Ji Hyun a comforting big hug as they film a tense argument scene together. She is also seen caring for Han Ji Hyun as she carefully takes out something off her face when the camera is not rolling.

The next scene shows the friendly relationship of Lee Ji Ah and Kim Young Dae(who plays her son Joo Seok Hoon) which is very opposite to how their characters interact in the drama. Lee Ji Ah asks Kim Young Dae, "Will the apple you ate earlier be enough?" as a response he reassures her that he's fine and he's not hungry.
In another scene, there's a cute baby brought to the set where Park Eun Suk and Eugene happily greet the baby and play with him/her for a while. Then during the scene of Cheon Seo Jin and her father on the staircase, Kim So Yeon was delighted to see Choi Ye Bin (her onscreen daughter Ha Eun Byeol) watching her filming the scene and happily waves at her, so Choi Ye Bin joyfully makes a heart with her arms to show her love and support to Kim So Yeon.

Choi Ye Bin discussed watching her on-screen mother's terrifying murder scene and she was asked to say something about her "mother", she responded with a laugh stating " Mom, please stop killing people! Then she added, "Mom, I love you".
