‘The Penthouse’ Cast Participates in Script Reading for Drama's Second Season
SBS gave the viewers a close up behind-the-scenes photos and videos for the coming sophomore season of "The Penthouse."
After the first season came to an end last January, viewers are already zealously anticipating the next chapter of this not so extraordinary story. The cast was also powerful enough to catch the attention of the viewers.
That is why, to give excitement to the fans, "The Penthouse" cast shared some updates about the drama's anticipated season two!
"The Penthouse" Actors Hold Script Reading for the Imminent Season 2
On Feb. 3, a script reading was held and present during the event were Eugene, Kim So Yeon, Uhm Ki Joon, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Joong Hoon, Bong Tae Gyu, Park Eun Suk, Yoon Joon Hee, Ha Do Kwon, and more. The actors entered the room one by one and greeted each other warmly. They were gathered once again to prepare themselves in moving forward to the next page of their story.
Director Joo Dong Min and writer Kim Soon Ok started by giving a warm welcome to everyone and a simple introduction before reading the script. The atmosphere was so bright showing the compatibility and strong teamwork between the cast members.
Following the introduction, the director expressed himself in front of the members by saying, "Let us do a good job throughout the next seven months. I hope that we will be able to look back and say that we are proud and we enjoyed working together."
Eugene began reading her lines and her voice almost took over the room as she was greatly immersed with her character as Oh Yoon Hee. Actress Kim So Yeon who played the role of Cheon Seo Jin, also showed her immense acting and even her emotions are all on point. The character of Joo Dan Tae is still more vigorous than ever as Joo Dan Tae acts as if he was already acting on set.

Shin Eun Kyung also made a good performance with her character as Kang Ma Ri, same as with Bong Tae Gyu, who projected very well his role as Lee Gyu Jin. Ha Yoon Cheol's character was played by Yoon Jong Hoon, who gave up his position as hospital director after an intense clash with Cheon Seo Jin. Park Eun Suk stars as Logan Lee, who underwent deep pain after losing Min Seol Ah and Shim Soo Ryeon.
Other cast who were not present during the script reading are also expected to show their best when the drama starts filming.

Meanwhile, the producers of the series were overwhelmed by the hard work and dedication of each and everyone for the drama.
They expressed, "Throughout working together, the cast has already proven their notable acting and powerful dynamic. With all their dedication for the upcoming season two combined with the explosive storyline, never ending adrenaline rush were felt just the script reading alone. Because of the actors great acting and perfect teamwork, scenes naturally came to life. For all the viewers, you will be seeing splendid performances from the cast all throughout the second season of the drama 'The Penthouse'."
In the video below, you can see that Eugene and Kim So Yeon expressed their gratitude towards their colleagues and that they were very happy to be able to work together again.
