Actor Lee Min Ho in SBS drama "The Inheritors" (writer Kim Eun Sook, director Kang Shin Hyo) is attracting attention as he was in 100th place for midterms.

In the 10th episode of "The Inheritors" Kim Tan (played by Lee Min Ho) places in last place for midterms and viewers laughed.  This is worse than "Random picking" by Young Do (played by Kim Woo Bin) who picked 1's all the way down and Myung Soo (played by Park Hyung Shik) who cheated off of Kim Tan.

It's questionable between netziens whether the 100th place for midterms is a complexity that writer Kim Eun Sook wanted or something because Kim Tan wasn't good at studying.  This is why Lee Min Ho is becoming so popular as even his grades are something of interest.

In this scene, Kim Tan's personality stood out saying, "To me, there's no in-between" as he showed this in person through the midterms.  Of course it wasn't too far long after returning from the U.S. where he couldn't adjust to the schoolwork and there are jokes that he received an inheritance from his immature mother Ki Ae (played by Kim Sung Ryung) but the fact that the greatest man of all times Kim Tan was last in place is ironic for writer Kim Eun Sook.

In the scene with the midterms, Lee Min Ho went to the exam and starred places as well as underlined them to show unusual sincerity.  Even in passing scenes, the viewers were focused as they were focused on his exam paper as well.  The opinion came out, "Is the presence of Lee Min Ho a complexity that the writer was waiting for?"

The problematic text in Kim Tan's exam was from Oh Kyu Won's poem, "Franz Kafka" stating, "I'm sitting with a crazy student who wants to study poetry.  The cheapest Franz Kafka."

At this, viewers brought various interpretations as to whether Kim Tan's method of solving problems was because he was looking for a change in Kafka's representative piece, whether it had a relational change from the conventional mindset, whether a multidimensional value was being brought in by breaking down the worldy frames of modernism in a hierarchical space.

The fact that Kim Tan's midterm is at 100th place has meaning too.  There are hints here and there that Kim Tan likes to write essays in English and that "He does thinking" that shows his intelligence is above and beyond.  These sides of him made viewers reconsider his charismas as something unexpected and along with the humor that came from his unexpected charisma, there are opinions as to whether there are complexities in the drama that are hidden.
