Good news to all the fans of the 2020 megahit crime series "The Good Detective." They will be returning on the small screen with a new exciting season!
"The Good Detective" Season 2 to Finally Meet the Audience and will Start the Production in October 2021
On April 16, according to a media report, a source from JTBC announced, " 'The Good Detective' will be meeting the viewers next year (2022) for Season 2. And we are about to start filming in October of this year (2021)."
It was already said before that there might be a possibility of having a Season 2 since "The Good Detective" gained high viewership ratings consecutively throughout the date since it aired. And after further discussions, the production already decided to push the project in 2022.

"The Good Detective" aired last July to August 2020. It tells the story of detectives living in the real world where inequality and injustices are present. Detective Kang Do Chang (Son Hyun Joo) and Oh Ji Hyuk (Jang Seung Jo) teamed up to punish all the criminals. Its unique story concept of ordinary people dealing with such struggles in society left an impressive impact on the audience.

Actors Son Hyun Joo and Jang Seung Jo were also expected to return as the main cast of the series. Their tandem is one of the things that stood out and appreciated by the viewers. And bringing them again in one frame will give a strong impact to the drama.

After hearing the news, fans were very excited and delighted to know that a new season is coming. They are also hoping that aside from the main two actors. "Miss Hammurabi" actress Lee Elijah who was also part of the first season would also join the project again.
