Actress Go Ah-sung (Ko Ah-seong) and actor Yoon Kye-sang are going to be part of a new thriller drama intriguingly titled "Crime Puzzle." This is confirmed by Go Ah-sung's agency itself, the KeyEast Entertainment.

"Crime Puzzle" is reportedly based on a webtoon of the same title. The story and plot would revolve around a criminal psychologist who was falsely accused as a murderer. It is a quite complicated situation since the alleged murder victim is a political candidate, which means he is sentenced to life unless he finds a way to get to the bottom of the crime.

"Crime Puzzle" Plot

The drama revolves around the fact that his ex-lover is also the victim's daughter. This makes their relationship quite strained and tense, but the daughter decided to interview him as a criminal profiler for a new murder case that occurred in the same prison. Doing so puts a crazy spin into their lives as they find themselves taking part in a complicated and deadly chasing game planned by none other than the real killer.

Needless to say, the new thriller will give the audience one kind of a ride, and the cast must be strong to pull this story off. Go Ah-sung and Yoon Kye-sang are deemed the best for these roles.

Go Ah-sung will play Yoo Hee, daughter of Anrim City Mayor Yoo Hong-min. She has a refined way about her, coming from a wealthy family and having had studied abroad to gain the job of a criminal profiler after being one of the bright students the world-renowned criminal psychologist Han Seung-min, played by Yoon Kye-sang of "Chocolate."

Yoo Hee must have made a good mark on the mind of her professor because when she returned to South Korea, she meets Professor Han once more. The chemistry between them transformed, and the two ended up in a romantic relationship.
But as the story goes, the two only managed to have happy moments in a span of one year.

On their first anniversary, her father gets murdered, and Seung-min is accused as the murderer. The two had to part ways, Professor Han jailed.

When she started working for the Anrim Police Agency, Yoo Hee had to once more confront the enigmatic professor and her ex-lover. She is tasked to conduct interviews with him about a new murder case that happened inside the same jail where he is imprisoned. Naturally, all the chasing, drama, and even romance start from there.

"Crime Puzzle" Release Date

Go Ah-Sung already has a solid acting portfolio, but of course, I can add more to it. Her acting prowess was evident in her television dramas, such as "Heard It Through the Grapevine" (2015), "Radiant Office" (2017), and "Life on Mars" (2018).

This role is no small feat, but if the actress pulls through it, she can truly be considered a master portrayer of strong, resilient characters because most of her past characters were women of that capacity.

There is still no definite "Crime Puzzle" release date, but what is known is that it is already scheduled for broadcast in the second half of 2021.
