‘#ALIVE’ Star Yoo Ah In Courted to Do a New Blockbuster Film ‘Jeon, Ran’
57th Baeksang Arts Awards Best Actor (Film) Yoo Ah In is being courted to be part of new martial arts-themed film "Jeon, Ran," which is expected to be another blockbuster hit!
New Action-Historical Film "Jeon, Ran" Might be Yoo Ah In's Next Project
According to an official representative, on May 20, "Chicago Typewriter" actor Yoo Ah In recently received an offer to appear in the movie "Jeon, Ran." It is said to be produced by director Park Chan Wook.
The martial arts-action film is set in the Imjin War. If the award-winning actor confirms his participation in the film, this project is said to be the first collaboration of Park Chan Wook and Yoo Ah In.
"Midnight FM" and "The Tenor Lirico Spinto" director, Kim Sang Man, is expected to be incharge of the movie. The upcoming film is also planned to team up with Moho Film Production and Semi Colon Studio.
"Jeon, Ran" also has a blend of historical themes, in which Yoo Ah In can completely immerse himself. He made various historical dramas before, such as "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" in 2010, "Jang Ok Jung" in 2013, and in movie "The Throne" in 2013.
