SBS TV’s ‘Through the Darkness’ Unveils Peculiar Character Posters of Kim Nam Gil, Jin Sun Kyu and Kim So Jin
Following the individual character stills, SBS TV's forthcoming crime drama "Through the Darkness" (also known as "Those Who Read Hearts of Evil") released new peculiar character posters of its three lead actors, Kim Nam Gil, Jin Sun Kyu and Kim So Jin.
'Through the Darkness' Reveals Kim Nam Gil, Jin Sun Kyu and Kim So Jin Character Posters
SBS TV's "Through the Darkness" depicts the unconventional story of South Korea's first criminal profiler who looks into the hearts of serial killers at a time where baseless murders were at its highest.
The drama stars Kim Nam Gil as Song Ha Young, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Scientific Investigation of Criminal Behavior Analysis team's criminal profiler. Despite his indifferent personality, he's a person who reads more deeply into humans more than anyone else.
Jin Sun Kyu portrays the role of Kook Young Soo, Song Ha Young's senior and team leader of the Criminal Behavior Analysis team. He is the first person to recognize the need to analyze criminal behavior, hence, creating his own team to their advantage.
On the other hand, Kim So Jin plays the role of Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Mobile Investigation Unit's team leader Yoon Tae Goo. She has an animal-like instinct in perceiving cases, earning respect from her colleagues for how she effortlessly handles violent crimes.
In the newly published character posters, Song Ha Young, Kook Young Soo and Yoon Tae Goo stare straight at the camera from behind a glass filled with images vital to criminal investigations.

The posters were quite peculiar for its opaque and foggy appearance, a symbolization of how blurry the minds and hearts of serial killers who they had to look into.
Although their facial expressions and gazes weren't visible due to the foggy glasses, Kim Nam Gil, Jin Sun Kyu and Kim So Jin still depicted the feel of mystery of the drama successfully.
Fans expressed their excitement over the powerful aura that the drama's plot and characters exude.
'Through the Darkness' K-Drama Premiere and Further Details
SBS TV's "Through the Darkness" is based on the non-fiction book of the same name written by South Korea's first criminal profiler Kwon Il Young. It depicts the story of the writer's field experiences.
The drama is helmed by director Park Bo Ram and scriptwriter Seol Yi Na.
Apart from the three strong lead actors, Lee Dae Yeon, Kim Won Hae and Jung Man Sik will lend their support to strengthen the drama.
