"The Heirs" has added another tasty kiss to the list of famous food-focused kdrama kisses.

In one episode Lee Min Ho asks Park Shin Hye if she wants a donut and when she says she does, he places one in her mouth. But then in a dubiously romantic gesture, he reaches over and takes a bite.

Lee Min Ho saw this as a gesture of affection.

"In all the productions I have taken part in, this one has the most affection and the highest number of kissing scenes," he said. "Since I'm not the type that shows affection easily, trying so many kinds of kisses is a first for me."

It's true, his character has kissed hers on the lips, kissed her on the forehead and now the characters have shared a "donut" kiss.

But as sweet as some viewers may perceive the kiss to be, it's also typical of the weird aggressive way that Lee Min Ho's character Kim Tan is romantic. He rarely asks permission for the way he intrudes on Cha Eun Sang's life or corners her.  He should really learn to respect her boundaries.

But it wouldn't be the first time that a kiss caught a kdrama character off guard or that a kdrama kiss focused on food. Earlier this year we had the "cotton candy kiss" in "That Winter The Wind Blows." In that kiss Jo In Sung and Song Hye Kyo shared cotton candy and their lips almost touched.

And how about the sugary "Coca Cola kiss" shared by Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan in "Lie To Me?" Yoon Eun Hye shakes up a bottle of coke and it drenches them both.

The foam kiss in "Secret Garden" is less sticky and even more memorable. In that drama Hyun Bin kissed the coffee foam from Ha Ji Won's upper lip. He tells her that she left the foam there on purpose so he would have to kiss it off. He says girls always do that kind of thing when they want to be kissed.

On an even less sticky and perhaps more spicy note, Jung Il Woo kissed the kimchi off Lee Chung Ah's cheek in "Flower Boy Ramen Shop." While only one set of lips were involved, it did make her character's heart flutter.

And then there's the "spaghetti kiss" in "Queen Inhyun's Man." Yoo In Na is teaching Ji Hyun Woo how to properly eat pasta, as he's a time traveler who has never eaten Italian food. They share a strand and meet in the middle. But that kiss involved two willing participants.

"The Heirs" Cha Eun Sang seems less happy with her kiss and smacks Kim Tan in the arm. Do you think he should kiss her when she doesn't want him to? How do you think the donut kiss rates with other edible kdrama kisses?
