‘So Not Worth It’ Star Park Se Wan Confirmed to Team-Up with ‘Sky Castle’ Actor Song Geon Hee in a New Drama

Upcoming series under Watcha original drama "Alice: The Final Weapon" confirms its lineup of the cast, including lead stars Park Se Wan and Song Geon Hee.

Multiple outlets noted that the new high-teen action romance is gearing up with the Kdrama starting with a roster of promising stars.

'Alice: The Final Weapon' Cast Lineup

Helmed and written by Lee Byung Hun, who is the genius behind the 2019 movie "Extreme Job" and the hit Kdrama "Be Melodramatic" alongside director Seo Seong Won, the forthcoming series follows the story of students who are being chased by a criminal organization.

Apart from the lead stars, joining the cast are Kim Sung Oh, Kim Tae Hoon, Jeong Seung Gil, and Cha Joo Young.

Although the characters are yet to be confirmed, Watcha CEO hints at the jam-packed story of the upcoming series noting that viewers will witness the bold plot and novel charm of Watch Original through "Alice, the Final Weapon."

Interestingly, following the confirmation of the cast, the new Kdrama will be released exclusively through Watcha in the first half of 2022 and produced under Plus Media Entertainment.

Where Have You Seen the Cast of 'Alice: The Final Weapon'

Kdrama fandom might be familiar with Song Geon Hee in her breakthrough series "SKY Castle," where he took the role of Park Young Jae, whose mother committed suicide at the Sky Castle and the estranged son of Park Soo Chang, plate by Yoo Sung Joo.

After starring in the hit makjang series, he had a view supporting roles in "The Tale of Nokdu," "Mystic Pop-Up Bar," "Missing: The Other Side," "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" and his recent is with BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Jung Hae In in JTBC's "Snowdrop."

He played the Kpop star's younger brother named Eun Young Woo in the melodrama.

As for his fellow lead star, Park Se Wan made his acting debut in 2016 through the series "The Red Teacher" however, she gained the public's attention through her impressive skills in the coming-of-age series "School 2017" and the romantic-comedy-drama "I'm Not a Robot."

Interestingly, she starred with fellow newcomers and Kpop star turned actors in the Netflix sitcom "So Not Worth It" alongside Shin Hyun Seung, GOT7's Youngjae, (G) I-DLE's Minnie and more.

Apart from her team-up with Song Geon Hee, Park Se Wan is also set to headline the cast of the new comedy movie "6/45" with Go Kyung Pyo, Kwang Dong Yeon, Lee Yi Kyung and Eum Moon Suk.

Moreover, she is also in talks to star in the musical drama film "Life is Beautiful."

On the other hand, Kim Sung Oh, who will also join the duo in "Alice: The Final Weapon" gained the viewers' attention after landing the role of Park Seo Joon's coach in "Fight for My Way" and in the thriller mystery Kdrama "L.U.C.A.: The Beginning."
