Confirmed! Ji Sung to Play Another Challenging Role in tvN’s Mystery Drama ‘Adamas’
Award-winning actor Ji Sung is making a drama comeback this year with tvN's "Adamas."
Early in December, Ji Sung was reported to join the main cast of "Adamas." On January 19, K-media outlets announced that the "Kill Me, Heal Me" actor is already confirmed to lead the upcoming mystery-thriller series.
Ji Sung Portrays New Dual Role in tvN's 'Adamas'
Ji Sung is expected to play another dual role in which he is really good at portraying. He takes the characters of twin brothers Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun.
"Adamas" tells the story of twin brothers who tries to uncover the truth behind the death of their father, who was murdered 20 years ago. They will find "Adamas," the murder weapon used and disappeared for a long time.
Ha Woo Shin is a famous best-selling novelist, while his twin, Song Soo Hyun, is a prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutors' Office. Their stepfather died when they were still kids, and now that they are already pursuing different career paths, Woo Shin and Soo Hyun found out that their birth father is the real culprit behind the death of their stepdad.

Seo Ji Hye and Lee Soo Kyung Join Ji Sung in the Mystery K-Drama Series
Later on, the brothers will learn that their biological father was framed for their stepdad's murder. While busy processing the details, they will cross paths with Eun Hye Soo (Seo Ji Hye) and Kim Seo Hee (Lee Soo Kyung).
Eun Hye Soo is married to the eldest son of the Haesong Group. She then meets Ha Woo Shin and helps him secretly in uncovering the secrets to his stepfather's death.
Meanwhile, Kim Seo Hee is a reporter by profession at the TNN Local news. A righteous lady and very enthusiastic when it comes to her job. She has a secret that is related to Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun.
In addition, Director Park Seung Woo, who received favorable reviews for his fresh and sensuous directing for the series "Kairos," is also the creative head to helm "Adamas." Meanwhile, writer Choi Tae Gang is in charge of penning the script.
“Adamas” marks Ji Sung's next big drama following the success of his previous legal series “The Devil Judge” alongside Park Jinyoung and Kim Min Jung.
The mystery drama is confirmed to meet the viewers in the second half of 2022.
