Kwon Sang Woo Criticizes Joo Ji Hoon Harshly In 'Medical Top Team'
Kwon Sang Woo started to criticize Joo Ji Hoon harshly.
On the 13th episode of MBC Wednesday/Thursday drama "Medical Top Team" (director Kim Do Hoon Oh Hyun Jong, script Yoon Kyung Ah) broadcast on November 20th, Park Tae Shin (played by Kwon Sang Woo) left the Top Team and worked in the evening after-hours team.
And coincidentally, he comes to know a patient who is young but has liver cancer and has cancer cells rejuvenating and increasing. He takes the case and goes to the Top Team and talks with the other medical professionals. He talks about how this is a rare disease called Von Hipel Lindow syndrome.
This was a true incurable patient that Top Team would need to treat. However, the standards of the treatment had changed and Park Tae Shin left top team as the chances of him working on the case would be slim to none.
He goes to Han Seung Jae (played by Joo Ji Hoon) and reports about the patient. Han Seung Jae explained, "So are you saying we have to take care of this child? Even if the treatment standards haven't changed, this patient is difficult. Even after the surgery, you have to continue treating. That isn't possible even in our team."
Park Tae Shin asked for support - even if it's only the treatment fees. However, Han Seung Jae said, "Dr. Park, you're not a part of Top Team anymore" and coldly walked away. Park Tae Shin said, "These words seem like words that you yourself do not believe." This is because Han Seung Jae more than anything knew the goals of the Top Team and why it was established.
Park Tae Shin said to Han Seung Jae while glaring at him, "Director Han, where is that determination to create a team that would save a patient? How did you become a selfish monster like this?"
