Park Bo Gum Receives Recognition in Military Ahead of Discharge

Park Bo Gum Gets Barber Technician License in the Military
On February 2, an official from the Navy said Park Bo Gum, who is serving as a sergeant, was included on the list of successful candidates for the practical examination of Barber technician, a national technical qualification test conducted in December 2021.
The official stated that the military encourages soldiers to obtain certificates as part of their self-development before being discharged from the military.

Further, the representative shared he understands how dedicated the "Encounter" actor is with his duty as a sergeant in the navy. He revealed that Park Bo Gum sacrificed his annual vacation to take the test at the Jinhae Navy Education Command.
Park Bo Gum is known to have shaved his fellow soldiers' hair while serving, and obtained a public certificate himself.
Park Bo Gum Military Discharge
Park Bo Gum began serving in the military on August 31, 2020 and hosted a national concert in Jeju in October.
Previously, the 29-year-old actor applied for the 2020 Navy Military Musica and Medical Corps Cultural Promotion Unit and passed through practical and interview exams.

After almost two years of serving the military, Park Bo Gum is scheduled to be discharged on April 30. He is expected to depart around March by using vacation before discharge as he has more than a month left before his service.
What's Next For Park Bo Gum?
Before enlisting in the military, the "Reply 1988" star finished his series "Record of Youth," alongside Park So Dam and Byeon Woo Seok.
