Han Hye Rin - A Tragic Character of Koreo Dynasty

Han Hae Rin's management company said, "Han Hae Rin will be joining "Empress Ki" taking the role of Koreo woman Lady Park."

The role of Koreo woman Lady Park that Han Hae Rin has taken on is a person handpicked by the empress (played by Kim Suh Hyung) who enters the court and will be constantly in conflict with Yeon Cheol (played by Jun Guk Hwan) and his daughter Tansili (played by Tansili) who will have a tough life.

Lady Park has a tough destiny but a warm heart as she accepts her destiny and tries to carry on but is in a tough situation with the power struggles around her.  The empress (played by Kim Suh Young) is at ends with Yeon Cheol (played by Jun Guk Hwan) as she plays a very important role and receives helps from Seung Nyang (played by Ha Ji Won) from Koreo and slowly gets accustoms to the court life.

Han Hae Rin has shown a bright side to her personality and a cute image through her roles as daughters of rich households in SBS "New Gisaeng Story" and KBS2 "Only You" but she has said that "It'll be more difficult to show this side in "Empress Ki" as it's a tragic female protagonist.

Han Hae Rin said, "As much as this is my first attempt at a historical piece, I hope viewers can be understanding and regard this with a warm heart."
