Multiple media outlets published a report containing the new updates about the upcoming KBS series "Speed Going To You is 493Km." According to sources, the drama is scheduled to air in April and will occupy the Wednesday-Thursday slots. However, the exact date is yet to be confirmed.

It is a sports-romance drama between Park Tae Yang and Park Tae Joon who are both into badminton. KBS' forthcoming series is attracting attention as a drama that will provide both heart beating passion in sports and soft excitement of romance.

Script reading was held in October 2021. Director Jo Woong and writer Heo Sung Hye led the event alongside other production crew members. Lead stars Park Ju Hyun, Chae Jong Hyeop, Park Ji Hyun, and Kim Mu Jun together with the other cast Seo Ji Hye, Jeon Bae Soo, Jo Han Chul, In Kyo Jin, Lee Seo Hwan, Lee Ji Hyun, Sung Ki Yoon, Choi Seung Yoon, Jo Soo Hyang, Moon Dong Hyuk, Kwon So Byun, Bin Chan Wook, Jeon Hye Won, and Lee Chae Min were all present.

In the news provided by various sources, the cast already established a great teamwork even though it was just their first time meeting each other. Each of them read their lines by exhibiting powerful emotions as if they were already filming the drama.

But above all, the chemistry between Chae Jong Hyeop and Park Ju Hyun gained attention from the people present during the table reading. The two actors delicately portrayed the emotional changes of Park Tae Joon and Park Tae Yang which gives more excitement once the drama already premieres this coming April.
Other cast members also showed overflowing energy making the atmosphere bright and full of laughter.
