MBC Monday/Tuesday "Empress Ki" broke its own record and has 20% in ratings in sight.

According to Neilsen Korea, a ratings company, the 9th episode of "Empress Ki" rated 17.2%.

This is 0.3% higher than the 16.9% in ratings that it recorded on November 19th.  It has rated the highest ratings for two episodes in a row and is increasing in ratings.  If it continues to go up like this, it'll be possible to break the 20% mark.

There are no competitors at this same time.  SBS "The Suspicious Housekeeper" was 8.9% and KBS2 "Mirae's Choice" is 4.5% in ratings as it was in single digits.

"Empress Ki" features Ha Ji Won, Joo Ji Hoon, as well as Ji Chang Wook and Baek Jin Hee in a four-dimensional love dilemma as viewers are getting interested.

Seung Nyang (played by Ha Ji Won) tried to kill Ta Whan (played by Ji Chang Wook) and failed as she could not hide her disappointment and Ta Whan did not recognize this and showed interest in Seung Nyang.  Tanasili (played by Baek Jin Hee) saw Ta Whan and Ki Seung Nyang together and slapped him in jealousy.  This raised tension as viewers were curious about the future plot.
