Kim Sae Ron To Star in Mystery Drama ‘Trolley’ to be Penned by ‘Do You Like Brahms?’ Writer
The "Do You Like Brahms?" writer Ryu Bo Ri is preparing for a new series, "Trolley" starring brilliant actress Kim Sae Ron.
Kim Sae Ron Joins the Cast of SBS Upcoming Drama 'Trolley'
On April 13, a media outlet reported that Kim Sae Ron will lead the new mystery drama "Trolley." An official from her agency, Gold Medalist, confirmed the news. She is expected to play the role of Kim Soo Bin, a lady who crossed paths with a strange couple, Hye Joo and Nam Joong Do.
"Trolley" revolves around the story of a married couple. Nam Joong Do is a member of the National Assembly and has the goal of making the world a better place. His wife, Hye Ju runs a repair shop and hides a secret from her past that Joong Do does not know.
She wants to have a peaceful life, even though her husband is a public figure. Hye Ju has never appeared in the media. But because of her secret, she starts to attract the attention of the public.
Meanwhile, last April 11, "My Name" actor Park Hee Soon confirmed his participation in the series and will take the role of Nam Joong Do. Joining the cast is "Hellbound" actress Kim Hyun Joo and actor Kim Mu Yeol.
The drama will be helmed by "Lovers of the Red Sky" director Kim Moon Kyo and is slated to premiere in the second half of 2022.

The young actress just finished her horror-fantasy series "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" along with rising actor Nam Da Reum. Following the conclusion of her drama, she immediately received an offer to appear in the upcoming Netflix original series "Hunting Dogs."

After further discussion, the actress accepted the project and is expected to work with Woo Do Hwan, Lee Sang Yi, Park Sung Woong, and Heo Jun Ho. The webtoon-based series is said to air in the fourth quarter of this year.
Aside from the two booked K-dramas, the "Secret Healer" star is also preparing for her big-screen comeback with the movie "Everyday We Are" together with actors Lee Chae Min, Ryoo Ui Hyun, and Yu Ju.
On the other hand, the "Hi! School Love On" lead star bagged a trophy at the recent 2021 KBS Drama Awards for her performance in the special short drama "Girls."
