Broadcast network SBS unveiled the first still photos of actress Im Soo Hyang in her new acting role as Woori in the new rom-com drama "Woori The Virgin"!
The upcoming drama is a South Korean remake of the American series "Jane The Virgin," which is also based on a Venezuelan soap opera.
Im Soo Hyang as Oh Woo Ri
"Woori The Virgin" tells the story of a sensible woman named Oh Woo Ri, played by Im Soo Hyang, who preserves her chastity before marriage. However, she ends up pregnant after an accident occurs during a medical exam.
Oh Woo Ri works as an assistant screenwriter of a popular drama. She has a boyfriend of two years named Lee Kang Jae, played by Shin Dong Wook.
She grew up in her grandmother's care due to her father's absence. Because of her guardian's harsh parenting, she became a model child who follows her grandmother's words no matter what.

When her medical exam goes awry, Oh Woo Ri finds herself pregnant. Cosmetics company CEO Raphael, played by Sung Hoon, is the baby's father.

'Woori The Virgin' Release Date, Time and Where To Watch
Previously, SBS and MBC were in conflict due to the scheduling of Im Soo Hyang's newest dramas "Woori The Virgin" and "Dr. Lawyer," which were both set to air in May.
Thankfully, the days and time slots, as well as the drama's themes, were different, so the two broadcast networks came into conclusion to push the said releases through.

On Tuesday, April 12, SBS announced that "Woori The Virgin" will be released in the first week of May, every Monday and Tuesday.
Im Soo Hyang's new rom-com series "Woori The Virgin" airs for the first time on May 9 at 10:00 p.m. KST on SBS TV.
Im Soo Hyang, So Ji Sub's 'Dr. Lawyer' Premieres This May
Im Soo Hyang and So Ji Sub work together for the first time in the upcoming medical romance series "Dr. Lawyer"!
It follows the story of a genius surgeon who becomes a lawyer after losing everything due to a false malpractice.
So Ji Sub plays the role of Han Yi Han, a doctor-turned-lawyer who defends medical practitioners against false malpractice. Im Soo Hyang transforms into Geum Seok Young, a prosecutor who lost her only family due to Han Yi Han's mistake.
"Dr. Lawyer" is helmed together by director Lee Yong Seok and screenwriter Jang Hong Chul. The drama is set to take over the time slot occupied by SF9 Rowoon's fantasy series "Tomorrow."
"Dr. Lawyer" will be released on Friday, May 27 at 10:00 p.m. KST on MBC.
