Finally, the production team in charge of the movie "Alien" starring Kim Tae Ri and Kim Woo Bin gave updates about its possible release this year and a new exciting poster showcasing the cast's colorful characters.
'Alien' Update: K-Movie To Premiere in Summer 2022
Director Choi Dong Hoon's film "Alien" released its first-ever poster. The thrilling picture of the cast intrigues the viewers of what roles these talented stars are yet to unveil. CJ ENM and production company Kaeperfilm confirmed on May 3 that they have decided to produce the first installment of the movie this year's summer season. However, the exact date is still being discussed.

The action movie is said to have invested a budget of more than 40 billion krw in production. The team shot the first and second parts together, though the filming has already concluded, only the first installment will premiere this 2022, and the second installment's release date is yet to be announced.

The movie tells the story of the opening of the door of time between the Taoists trying to take over the legendary sword of the late Goryeo Dynasty and those chasing an alien prisoner stuck in a human's body.
Kim Tae Ri, Kim Woo Bin, More Introduce Their Characters
Ryu Jun Yeol is a half-hearted Taoist who tried to get his hands on a new sword from the Goryeo Dynasty. He will play the role of Muruk. After "Twenty Five, Twenty One," Kim Tae Ri is about to make a silver screen return and will take the role of Ian, a widow but a fierce woman who kills enemies with her gun.
Kim Woo Bin, who currently stars in tvN's "Our Blues" takes the character of Guard, who manages the escort of an alien impostor. So Ji Sub is a detective who is chased by aliens. The various expressions of the characters stimulate curiosity about the unpredictable story that unfolds across the Goryeo Dynasty and the modern era.

Other cast includes Yeom Jung Ah, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Lee Honey, Shin Jung Geum, and Yoo Jae Myung.
On the other hand, the director of the movie was also the man behind the script. Choi Dong Hoon is a leading box office director in Korea who attracted 12.98 million viewers with the 2012 movie "The Thieves" and 12.7 million viewers in the action movie "Assassination" in 2015.
