Nam Joo Hyuk’s Rapper Lookalike Apologizes for Having Same Visuals as the Actor
Rapper, singer, and actor Gree faces criticism after being compared to Nam Joo Hyuk.
The 23-year-old, whose real name is Kim Dong Hyeon, expressed his apology after a series of online posts pointed out his similarities with the "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" star.
Gree Sends Apology to Fans of Nam Joo Hyuk
Over Gree's Instagram, he shared a screenshot of the post with a side-by-side photo featuring Nam Joo Hyuk.
One of the posts contains a caption that reads, "If you just look at the eyes, (you see) Nam Joo Hyuk...?!"
Based on the photos, you can't really tell apart who's who because both are wearing face masks; however, others pointed out that Gree and the Hallyu actor have similar eyes.

Unfortunately, the 23-year-old rapper appears to be getting online hate after he was compared to the "Start-Up" star. Due to this, he took to social media and expressed his apologies, especially to the actor's fans.
"I'll be taking strong action," he wrote, adding, "First things first, I'm sorry to everyone. I'm definitely not the one who spread this."
Gree also mentioned that he would rather choose to be involved in controversy than receive hatred such as this.
"During my 17 years of career in the entertainment industry, I have never been in the position of explaining my perspective. I'd rather be in the middle of a scandal," the singer added and even reiterated how sorry he was for the actor's fans. "Once again, I sincerely apologize to (Nam Joo Hyuk's) fans worldwide."
Who is Gree?
Also known as MC Gree, he also appeared in TV shows and K-dramas having minor roles.
His first K-drama appearance was with the 2008 KBS2 series "Cooking up Romance," headlined by Jung Min, Kang Kyung Joon, Kim Sung Eun, and Oh Yeon Seo.
Gree also joined the cast of "May Queen" in 2012 and "It Was Love" in the same year.
His last K-drama appearance was the MBC rom-com "Golden Rainbow," where he played the role of the teen Ryu Dam.

Apart from the rapper-singer, fans also think that Nam Joo Hyuk has similarities with these two K-drama actors.
First is CNBLUE's Lee Jung Shin. The K-pop star has a resemblance of the actor, especially in their face shape. Interestingly, both stars exude the box next door vibe with their charm.
The next actor who could pass as Nam Joo Hyuk's twin is Ahn Hyo Seop.
If you are new to the Hallyu world, you might mistake the "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" star for the male lead of "A Business Proposal" since the two K-dramas air almost the same month.
In addition, both series gained a massive response from the public due to their chemistry with their respective leads.
Nam Joo Hyuk's body is almost similar to Ahn Hyo Seop, given the two actors have slim and tall physiques.
