Since Min Seon Ah's (Shin Min Ah) jumping incident, she has been the subject of malicious rumors and comments.

Due to this, she decides to stay at the house she purchased for her and her son. Worried, Lee Dong Seok (Lee Byung Hun) looks for her.
They stayed at Seon Ah's house and talked about their lives, and what went down in their friendship.

Seon Ah shared that she's fighting her ex-husband for her son's custody, whom she lost due to her depression.
She also shared that ever since her father died, she suffered from depression. Although he didn't show it, Dong Seok's pity and worry were amplified. He also wondered what could've happened had they fell in love with one another and worked.

"Our Blues" episode 9 gives the audience a glimpse of 18-year-old Dong Seok and 14-year-old Seon Ah's budding friendship.

However, Dong Seok's heart gets crushed when he sees Seon Ah sleeping with his best friend, resenting Seon Ah for all his life.
Later in the episode, it was revealed that Seon Ah didn't sleep with Dong Seok's friend, as it felt wrong making love with someone she didn't love.

Growing up while seeing his mother cry her heart out because of pain took its toll on Dong Seok.
