THIS ‘Broker’ Star is Louis Vuitton’s Newest Global Ambassador
"Broker" cast are not just dominating the entertainment industry but also the fashion department after a Maison tapped Kang Dong Won to represent their brand.
Together with fellow lead stars Song Kang Ho, IU, and Lee Joo Young, the cast members showed off their charm as they graced the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
The movie, directed by Japanese filmmaker Koreeda Hirokazu, was invited to compete in the prestigious Palme d'Or category.
With this, the South Korean stars strutted their styles, flaunting their red carpet look alongside various industry personalities and influencers.
Kang Dong Won Introduced as Louis Vuitton's Newest Global Ambassador
During the "broker" premiere for the Cannes Film festival 2022, Kang Dong Won dons a Louis Vuitton black tuxedo with embroidered detail of mini paillettes. He capped off the ensemble with a white silk shirt and a satin bow tie.
Following this, the French luxury fashion house announced the "Broker" star as their newest global ambassador.
As cited by the Korean media outlet, Herald Company, Kang Dong Won has been selected by Louis Vuitton to represent their brand.
Interestingly, the Maison also shared a series of photos featuring the 41-year-old actor during his appearance at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
He will be joining breakout star Jung Ho Yeon and global K-pop group BTS.

Apart from the actor, another "Broker" star sealed the deal after being hailed by a different luxury fashion house to be their muse.
IU was also named as Gucci's latest ambassador, joining Shin Min Ah and renowned South Korean actor and "Squid Game" star Lee Jung Jae.
The Italian fashion house announced on their official Instagram, noting the singer-actress as their global ambassador.
Gucci shared a series of snaps of IU wearing a stunning gown from the brand.
"Global Brand Ambassador IU was captured at the 75th Annual Cannes Film Festival wearing a Gucci gown with lace rebrodé petal details on the cuffs, as well as sequin flowers and crystal embellishments on the skirt," the caption reads.
"Broker" is among Kang Dong Won's upcoming films this 2022.
Kang Dong Won's New Movies
Viewers will see more of the 41-year-old star as he is set to grace two soon-to-be-released movies.
Kang Dong Won's new movie "The Incident" is a remake of the film "Accident," which was initially released in Hong Kong.
It is an adaptation of the 2009 movie that focuses on the story of a contract killer named "Brain."
The upcoming thriller mystery film will be helmed by "The Queen of Crime" director Lee Yo Seob.
Adding to the list of Kang Dong Won's projects is the upcoming film "Possession."
His slew of back-to-back projects comes after the actor continued his loyalty to YG Entertainment.
In January 2021, a media outlet shared that the talent label officially announced that "Kang Dong Won recently renewed his contract with YG Entertainment."
The actor has been with the management for six years after joining in 2016.
