On June 7, Kang Dong sat down for an interview where he expressed his affection towards BTS V, who showed up in the VIP premiere of his film "Broker" despite his busy schedule.

The "Peninsula" actor shared, "He (BTS V) is an adorable younger brother to me."
Kang Dong Won added he had no idea that the reason why BTS V appeared on the premiere night was because of him. He just found out when they finally met at the event.
Meanwhile, when asked how he became friends with the "Hwarang" actor, Kang Dong Won said, "I am actually close to Park Hyo Shin, and V came when I was with him."
He continued, "And I found out that V is from Geochang, and I graduated from high school in Geochang, and due to that he wants to meet me, and that's how we became close."

Kang Dong Won was also asked how he became close to people from different fields, and he responded, "I am not a bad person. I am just joking sometimes, and I like to listen to various people."
Kang Dong Won's line of work equates to engaging with various people. The "My Brilliant Life" star explained that it is just right to communicate with them to be able to understand them and express their emotions genuinely.
He added that as he gets older, he tries not to distance himself from other people and remains open and friendly to anyone.

Ahead of the "Broker" VIP Premiere, Kang Dong Won and BTS V met in the United States when they watched the Michael Jackson One Show by Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas last April. The "Make it Right" singer uploaded their photos on his Instagram story, which made a buzz online.

On the other hand, the much-awaited release of Hirokazu Koreeda's "Broker" will finally happen this coming June 8. The movie is expected to premiere in South Korea.
Lead stars Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won, IU, and Lee Joo Young attended the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival last May 26. Together with director Hirokazu Koreeda, the cast members walked on the red carpet, representing their latest movie.
