Meanwhile, Anna, exuding a different aura, dons a stunning gold dress while ignoring Yoo Mi's deep stare.
"The moment you believe, even a lie becomes the truth," the phrase reads, hinting at two people who live an extremely different lifestyle.
"Anna" also illustrates Lee Yoo Mi's psychological disorder. She suffers from a condition called Ripley's syndrome. This makes one person believe in one's actual self as someone to maintain peace of mind and satisfaction.
Meet the Cast of 'Anna' + Release Date
Starring alongside Bae Suzy is Jung Eun Chae from "The King: Eternal Monarch" and "Pachinko."
She plays Yoo Mi's former boss Hyun Joo, a gallery representative, and lives a wealthy and luxurious lifestyle.
Hyun Joo left South Korea to study abroad, and upon her return, she was stunned to see a different Yoo Mi, living a new image as Anna and working at her family's gallery.
As noted by iMBC, Jung Eun Chae says she decided to participate in the drama because of the exciting storyline.
For the actress, the plot "felt extremely refreshing and the double-sided aspects of dark and ironic lightness were charming," adding that she wanted to see "Anna" come to life.
Joining Bae Suzy and Jung Eun Chae are Kim Jun Han as Yoo Mi's ambitious husband, Ji Hoon, and Park Ye Young from "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," who is set to play Yoo Mi's best friend Ji Won, whom she only trusts.
Bae Suzy's new drama "Anna" will be officially released on June 24, airing every Friday at 8 p.m. KST via Coupang Play.
