On June 17, according to a media source, SBS's new K-drama "Today's Webtoon" starring Kim Sejeong, Nam Yoon Su, and Daniel Choi is expected to premiere this coming July 29 and will occupy the Friday-Saturday slots.

"Today's Webtoon" centers its story on On Ma Eum (played by Kim Sejeong), a former judo athlete, who changed her career path due to an accident. She then received a job in a webtoon editorial department. Since it's her first time working in a complicated environment, Ma Eum is struggling to adjust as a webtoon editor and socialize with her workmates.
'Today's Webtoon' Script Reading
On the day of the script reading last April at SBS Tanhyeon Production Center, the following names were all present at the gathering; Writer Cho Soo Won, Director Kim Young Hwan, Jo Ye Rang, Lee Jae Eun, lead stars Kim Sejeong, Daniel Choi, Nam Yoon Su, Kim Gap Soo, Park Ho San, Yang Hyun Min, Do Kwon, Kang Rae Yeon, Ahn Tae Hwang, Nam Bo Ra, and Song Dong Woon.

Each of the cast expressed their gratitude for working with a new family and everyone hoped to make lots of good memories with each other while filming the series.
Kim Sejeong, who is known for her versatile acting and natural charm, brought laughter to the room while reading her lines. Expectations for her next drama role start to increase. Meanwhile, her new leading men Nam Yoon Su and Choi Daniel also established good synergy with the actress, and their chemistry with each other is already overflowing.

Rising actor Nam Yoon Su, who made an amazing performance in the historical-romance drama "The King's Affection," is back with another exciting character. He will play the role of Ku Joon Young, a hardworking guy who has the desire to work at the webtoon company.
Meanwhile, other casts also showcased their wide range of emotions which immediately established a good and bright atmosphere during the script reading.
