'Alchemy of Souls' Successful Pilot Week
On the other hand, the two stars in the newly premiered fantasy-romance series "Alchemy of Souls" met the viewers last June 18 and 19 on tvN. The weekend drama immediately received good feedback from the audience with just two episodes released.

"Alchemy of Souls" is set in the backdrop of an unknown place called Daeho, which does not exist on the map and history. The adventurous and exciting story starts when the protagonist's soul gets trapped in someone else's body.

Jang Uk (played by Lee Jae Wook) and Mu Deok's (played by Jung So Min) fate start to change after they meet on a long and dangerous journey in an unfamiliar place.
As the drama kicked off, viewers were in awe of its spellbinding first two episode broadcasts. The pilot episode made a promising start. According to Nielsen Korea, Episode 1 garnered an average rating of 5.2 percent nationwide, which took first place in its time slot across all cable channels. Most of the viewers who enjoyed the series were from ages 20 to 49.
"Alchemy of Souls" Episode 2 continued to make improvements and successfully had a rise in viewership ratings and recorded an average rating of 5.9 percent.

Meanwhile, the following "Alchemy of Souls" broadcast will be released on 25 and 26 on tvN. Its regular broadcast is every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m. (KST).
