As she reached Jeju Island, where she was set to meet Yoo Babi, the former boss called and mentioned that the position was unavailable, leaving Yumi in deep disappointment.
Kim Yumi Becomes a Full Fledge Writer
Upon seeing Yoo Babi at the airport, he sensed that Yumi was not feeling great.
Yumi shared that she failed in the writing contents again and was about to get a part-time job at her former department but was told that the position had already been taken.
Just when she thought she was having the worst phase of her life, Kim Yumi received a message from an editor asking if they could publish her work.
With just one message, Kim Yumi's perspective changed. She was thankful she didn't give up quickly despite the challenges she faced.

Kim Yumi's Jealousy
In "Yumi's Cells 2" episode 7, Yumi and Yoo Babi celebrate their first anniversary and spend it in his place.
However, Yumi feels the same scenario after seeing a woman leaving Yoo Babi's car.
She remembered that Yoo Babi once told her about the intern leaving near his place and would often join him on his way home. However, Yumi feels uneasy around the girl.
In the last scene, Yoo Babi felt speechless when she was asked by Yumi when he knew he liked her; this is because Yumi saw how Yoo Babi treated their intern the same way she was treated by Yoo Babi when they were just a coworker.
