Lee Byung Hun's younger sister Lee Ji Ahn spoke about her closeness with the renowned actor. 

The 1996 Miss Korea and broadcaster appeared as a guest on TV Chosun's entertainment program "Miracle Habit." During the interview, she recalled a time when people used to compare her to his brother because of their different looks.

As obtained by an outlet, the former Miss Korea said Lee Byung Hun was often mistaken as a foreigner, particularly Filipino because of his tanned skin. 

"My skin is white while my brother has tanned skin," she said, adding, "That's why he was misunderstood as a Filipino, and I was misunderstood as a Western mixed-blood beauty".

Moreover, she also mentioned that most people don't believe that they are siblings. Lee Byung Hun's visuals are somehow different from the typical Koreans because of his skin. However, this trait made him stand out. 

As for his sister, Lee Ji Ahn, she has pale white skin and doe eyes, making her look like a mixed race. 

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the former beauty spoke about her brother, Lee Byung Hun.

In 2020, she appeared in SBS Plus' "Kim Soo Mi's Are You Eating?" and addressed rumors that they are half-siblings. 

According to a report, Lee Ji Ahn spoke about a rumor about their family, saying that she and his brother have different parents; hence their appearance. 

"There was a rumor that my grandfather was French in high school. There was also a rumor that my brother and I had a different mom or a different dad," she said and denied the rumors saying that its "not true."

Moreover, she also pointed out that Lee Byung Hun looks like their mom while she looks like their father.

The award-winning actor is seven years older than his sister Lee Ji Ahn, this is also the reason he acts like a father to Lee Ji Ahn. 

In a separate interview as obtained by SBS News, Lee Byung Hun's sister revealed what kind of brother he was to her. 

Lee Ji Ahn said that his brother used to give her long lectures all the time, adding, "He would tell me off whenever I came home late at night as well" noting that she had a curfew until her mid-30s. 

On the other hand, she shared that the "Squid Game" star is the funny guy in the family. 

"Lee Byung Hun was always trying to make our family members laugh. He liked making us laugh," she said.

Lee Byung Hun was born and raised in Gwangju to his parents Lee Jong Kun, a successful businessman, and his mother, Park Jae Soon.

Reports say that he started his love for the entertainment industry at a young age and studied Theater and Cinematography at the Graduate School of Chung-Ang University. 

In 1991 she made his acting debut after joining as a supporting cast in "Flowers That Never Wilt."

Now, Lee Byung Hun is among South Korea's pride raking achievements on the international scene.
