Yumi’s Cells 2’ Episode 9 Spoiler: Kim Go Eun, GOT7 Jinyoung Encounter Crisis Because of Shin Ye Eun
The plot thickens as the main characters of "Yumi's Cells 2," starring Kim Go Eun and GOT7's Jinyoung, meet new people. As the webtoon-based series reaches its second half, Kim Yumi and Yoo Babi will face a relationship crisis.
"Yumi's Cells 2" depicts the story of Yumi, an ordinary office worker who ditches her regular job to become a writer. Interestingly, unlike normal human beings, her emotions, actions, and decisions are controlled by her cells led by her primary cell, Love.
The TVING series also illustrates her relationship and how she moves on from a failed romance.
In the second season, Kim Yumi is paired with her former colleague, Yoo Babi, played by GOT7's Jinyoung.
"Yumi's Cells 2" focuses on a different kind of love experienced by Yumi as she has to balance her new career path and being in a long-distance relationship. Unfortunately, the upcoming episodes highlight the struggles of the couple being apart.
'Yumi's Cells 2' Episode 9 Spoiler: Is Shin Ye Eun the Cause of Kim Go Eun, GOT7 Jinyoung's Relationship Crisis?
TVING released new still cuts, giving a sneak peek at what to expect in "Yumi's Cells 2" episode 9.
In the teaser, Yumi and Yoo Babi are about to spend their second Christmas together. It seems like Yumi visited her boyfriend at his home in Jeju, where he relocated because of work.
Based on the still cuts, Yumi is busy preparing for the holidays but she exudes an anxious expression as she looks up at a tree. The same goes for Yoo Babi who also looks at the tree decor with a stunned expression.
On the other hand, a teaser of Shin Ye Eun, who plays Yoo Da Eun, was also featured hinting about a surprising twist between the couple.
In the previous episodes, Yoo Da Eun was the intern at Daehan Noodle's Jeju branch and works under Yoo Babi's team. However, she was infatuated with her boss' charming and dazzling looks but was disappointed upon learning that he is in a relationship.
In "Yumi's Cells 2" episode 8, it showcases how Kim Yumi got jealous of Yoo Da Eun's closeness with Yoo Babi.
In one of the scenes, she even asked her boyfriend when he realized that he liked Yumi but Yoo Babi's cells prevented him from answering the trick question.

Just when Yumi thought that their connection was merely a boss and intern type of relationship, the last part of episode 8 featured Yoo Da Eun admitting her feelings towards Yoo Babi.
Although she did not specifically mention his name, Yoo Babi felt that he was the one being described by Yoo Da Eun.
In the same episode, the intern also left the company for one of her reasons was to move on with her "office crush." Yoo Babi's cells felt an earthquake suggesting that Yoo Da Eun's confession struck him.
