'Why Her?' Episode 12: Gong Chan Discovers More Evidence To Clear His Name
Oh Soo Jae (Seo Hyun Jin) kept her distance, revealing his guilt for Gong Chan, whom she failed to protect when she was a public defender. She took pictures of the materials found in the rooftop room. Chae Jun Hee (Cha Jeong Hwa) assured her best friend Oh Soo Jae that Gong Chan is innocent.

Choi Yoon Sang (Bae In Hyuk) also knew Gong Chan's past. He learned through Choi Joo Wan (Ji Seung Hyun).
Furthermore, he was convinced that Noh Byung Chul was not the real mastermind and found out that Choi Tae Guk (Heo Jun Ho) was related to Baek Jin Ki at that time.

Meanwhile, Oh Soo Jae was aware of the incident involving Jin Ki's daughter Kang Eun Seo (Han Seon Hwa) and Jeon Na Jung. She learned more about Baek Jin Ki and Yoon Se Pil's alliance.
Choi Ju Hwan, Han Dong Oh, and Lee Si Hyuk were involved in Eun Seo and Na Jung's case. Meanwhile, their fathers were said to be the culprit who killed Na Jung, who witnessed the moment Eun Seo was chased by Ju Hwan and his friends.
