The newest legal romance drama "The Law Cafe" (previously titled "Love According to the Law") stars Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young in their new leading roles as lawyers.

"The Law Cafe" is a novel-based drama that depicts the romantic story of a former lawyer and a rookie lawyer with a 4D personality while fighting injustices and seeking the truth.
Lee Seung Gi takes on the role of former prosecutor Kim Jeong Ho who now owns a building that houses his own law firm, which also operates as a cafe.
Meanwhile, Lee Se Young plays the role of Kim Yu Ri, a rookie lawyer with an eccentric personality who opens a law cafe after resigning from her previous law firm.

The new KBS drama marks the two stars' second work together after "Hwayugi." Before the drama's premiere, they dished out why they chose to star in the new work.
Lee Seung Gi shares that he has fallen in love with Kim Jeong Ho's character. He said, "He's a genius who memorizes anything after seeing it just once, and I want to prove that I can be like him."

When asked why he chose the work as his comeback drama, he answered, "Because "The Law Cafe" deals with the law and romance, I think the drama will be a blockbuster hit. It's what people want these days."
The long-running actor also hopes that the viewers would find comfort and resonance in the drama and receive positive responses from the public.
On the other hand, Lee Se Young reveals that Kim Yu Ri is a character she has wanted to do since she debuted as an actress.
"She's a woman who looks meek, but she's someone who will stand up for someone when she sees injustices," Lee Se Young said.

Kim Yu Ri's endless charms, quirkiness, and drive to open a law cafe while still pursuing the law also touched Lee Se Young's heart, which led her to accept the new acting role without hesitation.
