Golden Rainbow' Focuses With Story.. 1st place?
"Golden Rainbow" caught the attention of viewers with a dramatic story.
On the episode of MBC weekend drama "Golden Rainbow" (script Son Young Mok, director Kang Dae Sun) broadcast on December 30th, the ratings rated 12.6% according to Neilsen Korea and was ranked number 1. During the same time period, SBS "Thrice Married Woman" rated 9.5% and KBS 2TV" "In Depth 60 Minutes" rated only at 4.8%.
On this day, because Han Joo (played by Kim Sang Joon) had set fire to a storage facility, Il Won (played by Kim Tae Joon) feels his life being threatened and is in a dangerous place with his life. Han Joo was arrested by the police for a count of illegal imports and was taken into custody.
Baek Won (played by Kim Yoo Jung) works so hard after Il Won was moved to the hospital but she starts to worry as there is no supporter or sponsor that could vouch for her surgery fees.
Han Joo learns of this as she is on the way to the jail and with great fatherly energy, he tries to escape prison and goes to Jin Gi (played by Jo Min Ho) and agrees to testify that Jin Gi was not part of the illegal import in lieu of getting surgery fees for Il Won.
Viewers were sad and crying as the misery of Han Joo ended up as the death of Il Won. In addition, even in the tragedy, Han Joo couldn't get rid of her fatherly love for the seven brothers and sisters and this scene also made viewers attracted.
