‘Adamas’ Episode 16: Ji Sung Longs for his Twin Brother + Wraps Up With Slight Increase in Rating
After 16 episodes, tvN's crime thriller K-drama "Adamas" starring Ji Sung has come to an end, leaving viewers hopeful for another season.
Meanwhile, the weekday drama's viewership rating sees a slight jump from its previous episodes.
'Adamas' Viewership Rating
Ji Sung's K-drama comeback features twin brothers ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun who embark on their dangerous mission of finding the truth about their step-father's death.
After 22 years, the siblings unite to uncover the murder weapon down as the Adamas.
As cited by Nielsen Korea, "Adamas" episode 16 concluded with an average nationwide rating of 3.358 percent. It is a minimal increase from its previous 2.869 percent.
'Adamas' Episode 16 Recap
The finale episode began with Song Soo Hyun telling SIH head Kang Hyuk Pil and his brother about his plan to attack Team A's base after he sees the opportunity that all of Haesong's men will be at Chairman Kwon's funeral.
'Adamas' episode 16 also featured how Kim Seo Hee convinced the SIH boss to use his connection to protect Ha Woo Shin, Choi Tae Sung, Lee Chang Ho, and the rest of the team against Team A.
After the authorities successfully arrested Team A, Prosecutor Song was nowhere to be found. Ha Woo Shin then recalled that he is set to infiltrate Team A's base at the chairman's funeral.
At the base center, a sniper was aiming at the prosecutor, who happens to be Team A's leader, Mr. Lee.

At this point, Song Soo Hyun and the chairman's right hand have an intense battle. Mr. Lee gets the upper hand after shooting the prosecutor on his arm.
He mentioned that he is longing to see him suffer and beg for his life after killing and torturing his brother.
After this scene, he brought Song Soo Hyun to a secret hideout to end his life.
Is Prosecutor Song Dead?
The authorities tracked the prosecutor's GPS but ended up in a lake. With no trace of his location, Ha Woo Shin and Kim Seo Hee are hopeful that Song Soo Hyun is still alive.
With this, Ha Woo Shin, along with Choi Tae Sung are more than determined to hunt down Mr. Lee.
At the B site, Ha Woo Shin prevented Mr. Lee from escaping. During their face to face encounter, Team A's leader revealed how he killed Song Soo Hyun, who begged him to spare his life.
He tells Ha Woo Shin that he made the prosecutor suffer just like he did to his younger brother.
Because of anger, he shot Mr. Lee both on his legs but did not reveal Song Soo Hyun's location and the new master of Team A.
Eun Hye Soo Ends Kwon Hyun Jo
With Kwon Hyun Jo, the chairman's son, getting away with her plan, Eun Hye Soo had a negotiation with Team A's gunwoman, Sun.
Since she is eager to kill her sister, Secretary Yoon, who is also Kwon Hyun Jo's mistress, she tells Sun to make them suffer and end either one of them.
Surprised by what she saw, Secretary Yoon saw Hyun Jo struggling for life. Sun tells her sister that he will be in a coma and will be his lifelong caretaker.
In addition, Eun Hye Soo is now officially Haesong's chairman with Team A and even Ms. Kwon, the former chairman's longtime aide sees her as their new master.
In the latter part of the scene, Hye Soo was admiring the Adamas in front of her.
This comes after she made a deal to end Mr. Lee and in exchange, he will give the Adamas.
On the other hand, Kim Seo Hee saw a letter that states Song Soo Hyun is alive and instructed Ha Woo Shin to find the Adamas.
In the last scene, Ha Woo Shin is smiling brightly while holding the real Adamas.
