'The Law Cafe' Episode 5: Kim Yu Ri Confesses To Kim Jeong Ho

In the previous episode of "The Law Cafe," Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young) kissed her old friend Kim Jeong Ho (Lee Seung Gi), confusing the latter with her behavior.

"The Law Cafe" episode 5 begins with Kim Yu Ri brazenly confessing her feelings that makes Kim Jeong Ho's heart flutter.

However, because of the latter's cowardness, he didn't tell her that he didn't stop loving her since the day they met. Instead he pushes her away, saying that he doesn't feel the same way.

Kim Yu Ri Makes a Scene at the Borough

Due to her anger with the administration's negligence, she rushes to the borough and wages war to the social worker who didn't separate the abused children from their parents.

Kim Jeong Ho gives her a new perspective that it's the government that is at fault, as a lower-level aide doesn't have a say when it comes to decision-making as big as that.

In addition to that, many social workers are told to let the children stay with their parents as many orphanages and rehabilitation centers are always in full capacity.

With this, Kim Yu Ri takes this to national television, asking for funds to create more centers for destitute children as well as the victims of abuse.

Kim Yu Ri Meets a New Client

In episode 5, Kim Yu Ri tends to a new client who wants to appeal to the court after she gets sued due to physical assault.

She reveals to the young lawyer that she doesn't believe she deserves to be sued, as she only did what she had to do because she was in a sticky situation.

The client only assaulted the victim in self-defense after the said victim crept up to her multiple times, trying to kiss her and feel her up.

Kim Yu Ri then takes legal matters at hand, and even meets up with the "victim," laying all the grounds she can charge him with.

Meanwhile, Kim Jeong Ho runs to Lee Pyun Woong's (Jo Han Chul) house, warning him not to mess up with Kim Yu Ri anymore.

Kim Jeong Ho Embraces Kim Yu Ri

At the Law Cafe, Kim Yu Ri gets extremely worried after seeing Kim Jeong Ho beaten up. She then composes herself and apologizes for once again invading his personal space.

To her surprise, Kim Jeong Ho also apologizes for confusing the former. Due to his exhaustion and longing, he embraces Kim Yu Ri tight at the end of the episode.
