Song Kang Returns in 'Sweet Home' Season 2
After his team-up with Park Min Young in the rom-com series "Forecasting Love and Weather," viewers will get to see Song Kang reprise his role as Cha Hyun Soo in the Netflix series "Sweet Home" season 2.
As the post-apocalyptic K-drama is making a comeback, the 28-year-old star will continue his journey as one of the survivors in the Green Home apartment.
Joining Song Kang as "Sweet Home" season 2 cast members are Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Park Gyu Young, and Go Min Si who was also part of season 1.
In addition, the upcoming sequel will also feature new cast members, including Yoo Oh Sung, "It's Okay not to be Okay" Oh Jung Se, Jung Jinyoung, and Kim Moo Yeol from Netflix's "Juvenile Justice."
Following the confirmation of "Sweet Home 2" and its cast members, Netflix also announced that the post-apocalyptic series will return for season 3 as the lead stars posed wearing matching shirts with a note that says "Sweet Home" Seasons 2 and 3.
On the other hand, the production team hints at what to expect in the much-awaited sequels.
Along with director Lee Eung Bok, who helmed season 1, he revealed that the upcoming season "will have a new location as the backdrop."
In addition, the visuals that would be featured in season 2 will be different compared to the first season.
"The technical details that we couldn't refine in Season 1 will be further honed in Season 2," he added as cited by a news portal.
