To recall, Jo Eun Ki was one of the trial jurors who sentenced Jung Man Chun (Jeon Jin Woo) to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of murdering Baek Ji Eun (Oh Se Young). But since Man Chun was confident that he was not the culprit behind the murder case, he went for revenge, and Eun Ki was first on his list.

Luckily, Ryu Sung Jun was able to take action to corner Man Chun before he even hurt Eun Ki. Unfortunately, when Sung Jun was trying to help the female hostage, he was stabbed by Jung Man Chun and was rushed to the hospital.
Jo Eun Ki To Meet Ryu Sung Joon More Often
For the next episode, as seen in the stills, Jo Eun Ki pays Ryu Sung Jun a visit at the hospital, where he is still recovering from the wound he got from the incident. The detective seems to be doing fine, but Jo Eun Ki can't hide her guilt as she remembers how Sung Jun bravely risked his life to save her.

However, Eun Ki is not the only visitor that Ryu Sung Jun has. His brother Ryu Sung Hoon comes to see him. Though they are brothers, there is tension and awkwardness in how they treat each other.
Apart from their interaction at the hospital, Jo Eun Ki will reunite with Detective Ryu Sung Jun again, but this time, at the police station. It's for this reason that she has to give her statement regarding the hostage-taking that happened to her days ago.
