'The Law Cafe' Episode 7: Kim Jeong Ho Frames Bullies
In episode 7 of "The Law Cafe," Kim Jeong Ho (Lee Seung Gi) backs up Seo Eun Gang's (Ahn Dong Goo) alibi and frames Kim Min Gyu's (Kim Jeong Cheol) bullies for arson and attempted murder.
Lee Seung Gi
Kim Min Gyu almost took his life because of the perpetual torture he feels because of Hong Ji Hoon's (Park Sang Hoon) gang, making him determined to put the bullies to juvenile detention.
However, the police that are in charge of their case is their best friend Han Se Yeon (Kim Seul Gi) who sees through their cover. With this, Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young) believes that they shouldn't fabricate the truth despite what the bullies did.
Kim Jeong Ho Manipulates the Bullies and Defends the Victim
To protect Kim Min Gyu in the most righteous way, Kim Jeong Ho decides to defend him on his own despite avoiding anything connected to the law for a very long time.
Kim Jeong Ho promises that the bullies will be punished accordingly. He also visits Hong Ji Hoon and his gang at the police station, playing a mind game with the bullies.
Lee Seung Gi
He plays with their psychological warfare, turning the bullies against one another until one of them cracks. However, Hong Ji Hoon's father, who's a mayor in Dowon, uses his power to taunt Kim Jeong Ho and Kim Yu Ri.
He also puts Kim Min Gyu's grandmother in a sticky situation, spreading rumors that their small food business is unsanitary.
Hong Ji Hoon Abducts Kim Jeong Ho
Kim Jeong Ho decides to counterattack after Hong Ji Hoon's father ruined Kim Min Gyu's grandmother's business.
He then reveals the embezzlement, money laundering and other dirty works that his father was doing, proving his pen name "Whistleblower."

Due to his great anger, Hong Ji Hoon follows Kim Jeong Ho and smashes the latter's head with a brick before abducting him inside his home.

Scared that they'll once again be blamed for what Hong Ji Hoon did, the other bullies report the incident to Han Se Yeon who quickly notifies Kim Yu Ri.
Lee Se Young, Lee Seung Gi
At the Hong's mansion, Kim Yu Ri forces an entry by hitting the Hongs' garage with her car. The police then immediately arrest Hong Ji Hoon.
Kim Yu Ri tends to a pained Kim Jeong Ho, hugging him in her arms. The two share a passionate kiss at the end of the episode, raising the romance index to a new high.
