'The Law Cafe' Episode 10: Kim Yu Ri Faces Danger
"The Law Cafe" episode 10 begins with a tragic incident that endangers Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young) and Kim Jeong Ho's (Lee Seung Gi) lives.
A black high-end car speeds up and hits Kim Yu Ri, causing her to get injured. Kim Jeong Ho is fueled with rage as the police don't do anything.

After learning that the car that hit Kim Yu Ri was registered under a fake name, he rushes to Lee Pyun Woong's (Jo Han Chul) home. Unfortunately, he was outnumbered by his men and sustained body injuries from their endless punches.
Kim Jeong Ho then swears to protect Kim Yu Ri and promises to stay by her side. To her annoyance, the former gets very protective of her, even making everyone around them uncomfortable.
Kim Jeong Ho Welcomes Unexpected Visitor
When Kim Yu Ri gets discharged, Kim Jeong Ho asks Kim Yu Ri to stay at his place. However, his house seems to be overcrowded already when they are welcomed by his own mother.

Kim Yu Ri then stays at her own place while Kim Jeong Ho looks after her, even preparing her meals and bath essentials.
Meanwhile, Kim Yu Ri returns to work - Kim Jeong Ho still tailing her - and works on a case centered on inheritance.

She realizes that it's not only the money that people inherit from their parents but also their quirks, behaviors and even illnesses.

When Kim Yu Ri's mother explains why she's not affected by Kim Jeong Ho's family anymore, the young lawyer realizes that her father wouldn't want her to wallow in sadness and anger all her life.

Because of this, she gives herself time to process and decide on things. After a drunken night, she reflects on herself and once again realizes that her father only wants her to be happy.
She then tells Kim Jeong Ho that she doesn't want to be miserable anymore, and reconciles with him after 17 long years.
