Kim Young Dae is gearing up for his small-screen comeback with the historical-romance series, "The Forbidden Marriage." On October 25, broadcasting company MBC released the drama's first-ever stills showcasing the actor's character transformation.
From being a superstar in tvN's "Shooting Stars," Kim Young Dae is ready to meet the viewers with his new persona as the Majesty King of Joseon in "The Forbidden Marriage."
The historical series is based on a web novel of the same name, where a marriage fraudster appears in front of the king, who lost his beloved wife and ordered a ban on marriage.
Kim Young Dae takes the role of King Lee Heon, a lover and king of Joseon who can do anything for his beloved woman.
When he was still a crown prince, he lost his wife and suffered from a deep sorrow. One day, he met a matchmaker named So Rang (Park Ju Hyun), who could show Lee Heon's wife's spirit.

Attention is focused on what kind of incident he will be entangled with con artist Ye So Rang, who imposed a marriage ban on the crown prince's palace.

"The Forbidden Marriage" marks Kim Young Dae's first historical series, and seeing him in a Korean traditional costume makes his appearance notable. Apart from his solemn aura, Lee Heon's bright charm is expected to show as he creates a beautiful appearance with his new character.
