‘The Law Cafe’ Episode 15: Jo Han Chul Takes Lee Seung Gi Hostage

'The Law Cafe' Episode 15: Kim Yu Ri Turns Down Kim Jeong Ho
Previously, Kim Jeong Ho (Lee Seung Gi) made his sincere feelings known and decided to pop the question to Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young).
In "The Law Cafe" episode 15, Kim Yu Ri flatly turns him down, saying that she's not ready to be a part of his family yet - the same family that made her own suffer for years.
Feeling bad, Kim Yu Ri seeks her best friend Han Se Yeon's (Kim Seul Gi) advice. It turns out that she and her own husband have been through a rough part of their married life, too.
In the penultimate episode of the drama, Han Se Yeon cries her heart out to Kim Yu Ri while she reveals that she wants to divorce her own husband.
Lee Pyun Woong Flees From South Korea
After all of his nasty shenanigans were revealed to the world, Lee Pyun Woong (Jo Han Chul) finds ways to hide and save himself from being thrown into prison.
He then goes to a friend's vacation house to stray the police away before he leaves South Korea. Unfortunately, he still has unfinished business with his own family and Kim Yu Ri.

At the law cafe, Kim Yu Ri receives a call from Lee Pyun Woong who was in her hometown. She then figures out that he was about to do some crazy things to her mother to get back at her.
Kim Jeong Ho then runs to find Lee Pyun Woong and make him pay for what he did. Unfortunately, he was powerless at that moment compared to the latter, who has the upperhand.
He then becomes Lee Pyun Woong's hostage to summon Kim Yu Ri at once.
Kim Yu Ri Agrees To Represent Jo Han Chul At Court
Because he feels hopeless with all the crimes that are about to be charged to him, Lee Pyun Woong wants Kim Yu Ri to defend him in court.
Even if he doesn't win, he wants to at least receive less punishments. He threatens to kill Kim Jeong Ho if Kim Yu Ri doesn't agree.
Thankfully, Kim Yu Ri promises to defend him if he lets go of Kim Jeong Ho, who's not hurt with the knife Lee Pyun Woong was holding.

At the end of the episode, the police were able to arrest Lee Pyun Woong, saving Kim Jeong Ho and Kim Yu Ri from harm.
