Kim Sae Ron Reportedly Working as Cafe Part Timer Following Drunk Driving Incident

YouTuber and former entertainment reporter Lee Jin Ho revealed the current situation of Kim Sae Ron months after the drunk driving incident. In one of his YouTube videos, he revealed that Kim Sae Ron has new work behind the camera.

Kim Sae Ron Working as Cafe Part-Timer Following the Accident

The former entertainment reporter teased his viewers saying that he heard interesting stories about Kim Sae Ron's activities after the accident.

In a report obtained by Wikitree, the actress is now working as a part-timer at a cafe. It came after she dropped out of her upcoming projects due to the controversy and spend all the money she earned from the compensation process brought about by the drunk driving incident.

"But even his acquaintances didn't know where Kim Sae Ron was doing it," Lee Jin Ho added.

YouTuber Dismissed Rumors Regarding Kim Sae Ron's Part-Time Work

However, the YouTuber thinks that it is impossible for Kim Sae Ron to work as a cafe part-timer.

"Actually, I think that the possibility that Kim Sae Ron will work part-time at a cafe is low," he said, explaining that the actress has been working in front of the camera since she was young.

"And since it is a service industry, Kim Sae Ron would have been photographed if she said she was working part-time, but there is no such thing at all," the former reporter furthered, dismissing rumors about "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim."

What Really Happened to Kim Sae Ron?

Back in May 2022, the 22-year-old actress was embroiled in a controversy after she crashed and hit a public structure while driving her SUV in Cheongdam, Gangnam.

Unfortunately, the incident caused inconvenience to establishments around the area after hitting a big transformer box that caused a power outage in the area.

Following the incident and having conducted a series of tests, Kim Sae Ron was booked by the police for driving under the influence of alcohol. It was after the blood test came in showing that her blood alcohol concentration was 0.08 percent.

The said level was enough for Kim Sae Ron's driving license to be revoked.

Following this, the former child star released a handwritten apology through her Instagram, acknowledging her mistake for damaging public property which she calls a "big mistake in a drunken state."

In a statement, she said that her "wrong judgment and behavior caused an inconvenience to so many people."

Moreover, she promised to "actively communicate and resolve this until the end."

Due to the controversy, Kim Sae Ron dropped from her upcoming drama "Trolley" under SBS and was replaced by "Juvenile Justice" actress Jung Soo Bin.
