‘Tracer’ Cast Update 2022: Will Im Siwan & Go Ah Sung Reprise Roles in Season 3?

MBC TV's two-parter series "Tracer" took the entertainment scene by storm with its intriguing narrative that depicted the stories of people working at the National Tax Service; the drama portrayed real life happenings that were never featured in other works before.

Im Siwan and Go Ah Sung's drama received impressive scores durings its run which had the fans wondering if there's a new installment coming their way. While you're here, read more about the forthcoming works of the actors that you might like!

After "Tracer," Im Siwan made a special cameo appearance in Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do and Kim Ji Hyun's life romance drama "Thirty-Nine."

He also returned to the silver screen with the aviation disaster film "Emergency Declaration" which was screened at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.

Im Siwan worked alongside veteran stars Song Kang Ho, Lee Byung Hun, Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Nam Gil and more.

The film grossed millions during its run, instantly becoming a blockbuster hit. Im Siwan also bagged major awards and nods as an actor at the 2022 Buil Film Awards, London Asian Film Festival, Grand Bell Awards and more.

In addition to that, Im Siwan is gearing up to return to the small screen with the slice of life drama "I Don't Want To Do Anything" with AOA Seolhyun, which focuses on the refreshingly simple lives of people at a small town village. 

It is scheduled to air some time in November 2022. Furthermore, Im Siwan's upcoming films "Stolen Identity" and "Boston 1947" with Park Eun Bin are currently in their post production process.

Go Ah Sung

After appearing as a tax investigator in "Tracer," Go Ah Sung jumps onto another high scale work. She joins Bae Suzy, Yang Se Jong and Lee Jin Wook in the upcoming Netflix drama "The Girl Downstairs."

The work depicts the story of a normal college student who shares a flat with a famous K-Pop idol. Its principal filming of the series began in July 2022 with the intention to air it in the first half of 2023.

In addition to that, Go Ah Sung will also headline the upcoming film "Because I Hate Korea," a story about a woman who flies to New Zealand to find new happiness and love.

The drama will be Go Ah Sung's return to the big screen after her multi-awarded film "Samjin Company English Class" in 2020.

"Because I Hate Korea" aims to calm the dreary hearts of people in their early 20s brought on by societal pressure and abundant expectations.

As for "Tracer," there is now news of a new season but because of its critical acclaim and positive reviews from fans, the door is not entirely closed. Stay tuned for more updates!
