GOT7’s Jinyoung Admits Challenges in Playing Dual Roles in ‘A Christmas Carol’
GOT7's Jinyoung gets honest as he opened up about the challenges he encountered while filming his new movie "A Christmas Carol."
The actor joined his co-stars Kim Young Min, Kim Dong Hwi, and Directors Yeon Sang Ho and Kim Sung Soo during the press conference ahead of the film premiere.
During the interview, the idol-actor revealed his experience filming dual roles as he played twins, Joo Joo Woo and Joo Wol Woo.

The GOT7 member admitted that he found his role challenging but Park Jinyoung didn't think that it was a "radical transformation."
"I didn't think that acting as one person or two roles would change the character," he said as obtained by a media outlet, adding that he tried to express their different personalities in detail.
In the upcoming movie, GOT7 Jinyoung's characters are twins Joo Joo Woo and Joo Wol Woo. One goes into the juvenile detention center on his own will to avenge the death of his twin brother.
Apart from the challenges, the singer-actor also mentioned his initial thoughts after he was offered to play twins in "A Christmas Carol."
Park Jinyoung said that he wanted to work with Director Kim who also helmed the hit OCN series "Save Me."
He said that the moment he was offered the lead role, he knew that he would regret it if he missed the offer.
As for the storyline, the actor said "there are wild aspects of the characters in the story, so I thought about how to express them."
Based on the novel of the same name, GOT7's Jinyoung's new movie is a thriller psychological film and is joined by Kim Dong Hwi, Heo Dong Won and Kim Young Min as the lead stars.

Interestingly, "A Christmas Carol" is set to hit the big screen on December 7.

In 2022, Park Jin Young has back-to-back projects appearing in 1 drama series and 2 movies.
Apart from "A Christmas Carol" the GOT7 member appeared in the Netflix movie "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations" starring Sol Kyung Gu, "Squid Game" star Park Hae Soo, Lee El, and more.
Adding to the list of his activities this year, Jinyoung also reprised his role in the webtoon-based rom-com series "Yumi's cells 2" opposite Kim Go Eun.
For the second season, the story revolved around his character, Yoo Babi, and his relationship with Yumi, played by the actress.
Following this, he is set to return to the small screen and will be teaming up with Roh Jeong Eui.
The duo are selected as the lead stars of the upcoming K-drama "The Witch."
The series is based on the webtoon titled "Manyeo" and is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2023.
