While fans often see celebrities who could effortlessly entertain viewers and even a large crowd; however, some Korean stars are self-confessed introverts.

These K-drama actors love portraying various roles in front of the camera but are usually shy among strangers.

From Kim Tae Hee to Ji Chang Wook, here are four Korean celebrities who are known to be introverts.

Kim Tae Hee

Besides her high IQ, Kim Tae Hee is one of the most beautiful faces in Hallyu. Her captivating charm and smile could instantly brighten the whole room.

However, she once admitted that she used to be a very shy person.

Before her modeling career, Kim Tae Hee wouldn't have thought that she would have a career in front of the camera.

As obtained by a media outlet, the Hallyu queen explained "I never thought I could act in front of people because I was very shy and reserved."

Thankfully, she was able to adapt to the industry after debuting as a commercial model and is now among the top stars of K-dramaland, not to mention, she is married to the equally talented and good-looking RAIN.

Dubbed as the "nation's sweetheart" IU's could easily mesmerize one with her effortless charm and beauty.

Her innocent aura, soulful voice, and impressive acting skills made her among Hallyu's triple threats.

However, behind her star power lies an introvert whose MBTI is known as the INFP.

During her appearance in Elle Korea, she was asked a question relating to MBTI or personality test.

She used to get INFP or the mediator but recently got INFJ or the Advocate. This trait includes being empathetic, imaginative, love arts, and shy.

Uhm Tae Goo

During his interview with Korea Times, Uhm Tae Goo confessed that he is an introvert and it took him years to overcome it.

"I'm naturally very shy and I don't have a powerful voice," he said, adding that during the early years of his career, he would feel "really nervous" that he would start shaking and forget his lines.

"There was a time when it took some courage to start conversations with other cast members, but that just made things more awkward," he said.

Thankfully, as the years passed by and more people he met along the way, Uhm Tae Goo was able to slowly manage his shyness, especially when he appeared in "House of Wheels."

Ji Chang Wook

The South Korean heartthrob once spoke about his views on relationships and how his shyness would have an effect on them.

During his appearance in "Ask Us Anything" hosts asked about Ji Chang Wook's romantic relationship where he confessed that he is not good at confessing his feelings.

For the actor, he revealed that he is an introvert and was "too scared of getting rejected" if he confessed first.
