With a number of dramas and movies in their portfolio, these five Korean actors are humble kings. Despite being in-demand in the industry and talent fees costing millions, they still accept projects with the same enthusiasm even without payment.

Song Joong Ki

Song Joong Ki is a household name in Korean entertainment industry. He is confirmed to star in the upcoming noir movie "Hwaran," his next silver screen appearance following "Space Sweepers."

Though it has big casting members, the film is known to be a low-budget project. It turned out that Joong Ki decided to do it for free and also gave assistance to the whole production crew.

Lee Jong Suk

Korean heartthrob Lee Jong Suk, who graced the small-screen with "Big Mouth" alongside SNSD YoonA, is already booked for film "Decibel" this November.

But even before he reached total success in his career, Lee Jong Suk made a kind gesture in the past. It was revealed that he personally volunteered to play the male protagonist in the 2018 series "Hymn of Death" without pay.

Hyun Bin

Many would agree that Hyun Bin is indeed one of the highest-paid actors in his generation. With his years in the industry, Hyun Bin is basically raking in the dough.

But did you know, that no matter how famous or expensive his talent fee is, the actor did not take any fees when he made an appearance in the 2011 film "Come Rain, Come Shine." The "CLOY" star accepted the project wholeheartedly because he was in love with the script.

Ahn Sung Ki

Joining the list is veteran actor Ahn Sung Ki. He is known for his movies "Painted Fire," "Battle of Wits," "The Divine Weapon," "The Hunt," "Hansan: Rising Dragon" and more. Ahn Sung Ki has more than 30 movie titles under his belt since he began acting in 1957.

Being the true king that he is, Ahn Sung Ki not only turned down payment for one of his projects but also hired and paid makeup artists for the production crew of the 2021 film "In The Name of the Son." This kind gesture of his drew a lot of admiration from viewers.

Jung Hae In

As he is about to make a return on the small-screen with the Disney+'s "Connect," Jung Hae In's professionalism is always appreciated not just by the fans but also by his colleagues.

In 2021, despite his packed schedule, Jung Hae In still agreed to headline the series "Unframed," which was penned and directed by actor Lee Je Hoon. It was one of his ways to support his friend.
