Apart from the campus and office romance series, viewers also love to watch plots about fake or arranged marriages, in which the genuine "I do" of the lead onscreen couple happens later in the drama.

1. 'Princess Hours'

Grandparents arranged the marriage between their future children, but what makes "Princess Hours" captivating and different from other dramas is that the marriage is between an ordinary high school girl and a Crown Prince!

Shin Chae Kyung (Yoon Eun Hye) has to adjust from her average life and learn how to adapt to her new status: a princess and wife to the nation's Crown Prince Lee Shin (Ju Ji Hun).

This masterpiece is loved by thousands of K-drama fans and remains one of the best classics of all time.

2. 'Marriage Not Dating'

It follows the story of a rich and perfect man, Kong Ki Tae (Yeon Woo Jin), who is being forced by family to get hitched, but he doesn't want to marry yet. To make his family members give up, he introduces Joo Jang Mi (Han Groo) to them, who is opposite to the the daughter-in-law they want.

3. 'Something About 1%'

Because of an accident, Kim Da Hyun (Jeon So Min), a preschool teacher, got selected by Lee Jae In's (Ha Seok Jin) grandfather to be the woman his grandson should marry if he wants to inherit his company.

Both of them hate each other, and so they decide to engage in a six-month contract for a fake relationship from which they can both benefit.

4. 'Because This is My First Life'

Jung So Min and Lee Min Ki made the viewers' hearts flutter with their chemistry in this drama. Nam Se Hee and Yoon Ji Ho agreed to get married, after meeting for just a few days, for the reason that they need a rent-paying tenant and to appease their chaotic family members.

5. 'Lie To Me'

It tells the story of Gong Ah Jung (Yoon Eun Hye), a government employee, who has faced lots of misfortunes, including a face-off with her ex-friend, leading her to lie about her marriage.

6. 'Fated To Love You'

"Fated To Love You" is remake of the famous Taiwanese drama of the same name, and Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk's reunion project.

This follows the story of an arrogant chaebol, Lee Geun, and a timid office worker, Kim Mi Young, who accidentally have a one-night stand that results in a pregnancy. Due to the incident, the elders arrange a wedding for them.

7. 'Mr. Queen'

The latest series included on the list is this megahit K-drama of 2020.

Kim So Yong (Shin Hye Sun), future Queen Cheorin, is betrothed to Yi Won Beon (Kim Jung Hyun), future King Cheoljong, due to the politically arranged marriage.

Everything becomes complicated and chaotic as she attempts to withdraw from the fixed marriage.
