‘Cheer Up’ Episodes 1-5: Han Ji Hyun & Bae In Hyuk’s Chaotic Relationship Begins

'Cheer Up' Episode 1: Do Hae Yi Enters Yonhee University

Do Hae Yi (Han Ji Hyun) entered Yonhee University and met Jin Sun Ho (Kim Hyun Jin), who wanted to be friends with her; but she rejected him.

She had a bad encounter with Park Jung Woo (Bae In Hyuk) and began to hate him.

Meanwhile, Theia Cheering Squad was in search of new members. Young Woong saw Do Hae Yi's potential and pursued her in return for money.

Since Hae Yi needed the money, she considered joining the team.

'Cheer Up' Episode 2: Jin Sun Ho Joins Theia Squad For Do Hae Yi

Since Jin Sun Ho likes her, he also joined the club. Though he crossed paths with her multiple times already, joining the cheering squad was his only chance to get close to Do Hae Yi.

After he got accepted, Jin Sun Ho began his first training in Theia.

Meanwhile, Do Hae Yi was in one of her down moments as her boyfriend starts to lose interest in her due to her busy schedule at work.

She was hurt by his words. Despite how heartbreaking it was, she bravely ends her relationship with Yae Yeok.

Park Jung Woo found out about her struggles and comforted her, which began their conversation.

'Cheer Up' Episode 3: Sparks Fly Between Jin Sun Ho, Do Hae Yi & Park Jung Woo

As they all gathered in one team, tension arose between Captain Park Jung Woo, Do Hae Yi, and Jin Sun Ho.

Meanwhile, in preparation for the upcoming pep rally, newbies in Theia had to do their respective mission. However, Jin Sun Ho became competitive against Jung Woo, which created a small tension in the circle.

Sun Ho also caught Do Hae Yi gushing over Jung Woo and made him want to leave the group. He was relieved after rumors sparked that Jung Woo and Ha Jin were dating.

'Cheer Up' Episode 4: Do Hae Yi's First Performance With Theia Cheering Squad

Finally, after long hours of training, Do Hae Yi, Jin Sun Ho with other newbies and old members of the Theia Cheering Squad had their spectacular performance. Jin Sun Ho admitted his feelings towards Hae Yi to Jung Woo, which created new tension between the two, and Hae Yi got jealous of Ha Jin, they were able to set aside their feelings and gave their best effort to perform.

Unfortunately, a familiar scenario happened. The stage light fell and almost hit Do Hae Yi. Fortunately, Ha Jin was quick to give her signal and prevented the equipment from falling on her face.

Meanwhile, Jung Woo began to look for the culprit behind the incident.

'Cheer Up' Episode 5: Park Jung Woo Starts To Develop Feelings For Do Hae Yi

Theia squad celebrated their successful performance by having a field trip. During their out-of-town trip, Jung Woo got closer to Do Hae Yi. The newbie, on the other hand, enjoyed every moment she had with the captain. Through their simple hangout together, Jung Woo began to feel something towards Hae Yi but was still in his denial stage.

On the other hand, the atmosphere in the squad gradually shifted as gossip and fake news about the past incident started to circulate again.
