‘Under the Queen’s Umbrella’ Leads Most Buzzworthy Drama + Will ‘Reborn Rich' Beat the Series?
Kim Hye Soo's drama "Under the Queen's Umbrella" is unstoppable as the historical series leads the Most Buzzworthy Drama for weeks.
In a report, the tvN drama topped Good Data Corporation's list of shows and actors that sparked major buzz for the week.
The weekly rankings are based on data collected from news articles, online communities, social media posts, and videos relating to current or upcoming K-dramas.
'Under the Queen's Umbrella' Remains Unbeatable as Most Buzzworthy Drama
tvN's historical K-drama proved its reign in the Most Buzzworthy Drama ranking after securing the top spot for four consecutive weeks.
"Under the Queen's Umbrella" which follows the story of a fearless royal Queen Im Hwa Ryung is not only defending its spot in the rankings but continues to score double-digit viewership ratings in every episode.
However, some predicted that Song Joong Ki's new drama, "Reborn Rich" will enter the chart as the drama scored its first ever double digit rating during its third episode.
Interestingly MBC's "The Golden Spoon" came in at second place also defending its rank for weeks.
It is followed by the youth drama "Cheer Up" after ascending from fourth to third place.
As for this week's rankings, two new K-dramas entered the chart. Landing at sixth place is "Behind Every Star" which depicts the challenges and life of people working behind the camera.
Another newly released drama entering the weekly chart is SBS' action thriller series "The First Responders."

Kim Hye Soo, More 'Under the Queen's Umbrella' Cast Make It To Most Buzzworthy Actor Rankings
Apart from the drama series, "Under the Queen's Umbrella" cast dominated the rankings for Most Buzzworthy Actor.
Kim Hye Soo, who transformed into Queen Im Hwa Ryung, remained number one on the weekly rankings. Besides her, Moon Sang Min, Bae In Hyuk, and veteran star Kim Hae Sook also entered seventh, ninth, and tenth place, respectively.
The versatile star is followed by Park Min Young, who recently concluded her drama "Love in Contract." Joining her in the actor rankings is co-star Go Kyung Pyo in eighth place while "One Dollar Lawyer" star Namgoong Min made it in fourth.
Interestingly, two cast members of "Cheer Up" entered as fifth and sixth. Han Ji Hyun, who gained popularity for her performance in "The Penthouse" and Bae In Hyuk, who also starred in "Under the Queen's Umbrella."
